Hope Gardens is an inviting family type respite and long term care home - limited to 4 residents - located in beautiful Hudson Valley New York, an hour outside of New York City, Westchester and Northern New Jersey's Bergen, Morris and Passaic County. We provide high quality care for ambulatory adults 18 and over who can no longer live alone in the community.

Respite and Long Term Care in a Safe and Pleasant Environment

We offer a warm, friendly, supervised home for adults who require assistance because of illness, injury, disability, a terminal condition or advanced age. Our 24/7 staff helps residents with their daily needs - personal hygiene, dressing, eating, self-administering of medication and social interaction. Residents also enjoy home cooked meals, activities (such as gardening, musical events, crafts) and laundry service. They can relax reading a book in our cozy living/family rooms or on our sun-filled outdoor deck overlooking a picturesque landscape. Hope Gardens believes the key to a full life is to keep the body and mind active, so we arrange for transportation with private companies to senior citizen centers, schools, events and medical appointments.

Personalized Care

Hope Gardens is committed to ensuring a full, satisfying life for our residents. We work closely with our residents and their families to develop a truly personalized care plan that incorporates interests, hobbies, likes/dislikes, physical abilities/limitations, special food needs/preferences, medication schedules and so much more. Recognizing the importance of family, we maintain a flexible family visitation schedule and invite family members to participate in activities and meals. We also acknowledge the impact of familiarity. While Hope Gardens is beautifully decorated, we invite residents to bring in furnishings and decor from home to make their rooms more personal and familiar.

Our Dedicated Respite and Long Term Care Staff

Each member of the Hope Gardens' staff is passionate about care giving. Our founder is a registered nurse with a decade of personal care and case management experience and a certification from the State of New York to operate a family type home for adults. She and our social worker and aids treat Hope Gardens' residents with dignity and respect and strive to provide our small clientele with true quality of life.
